During our recent Easter trip to Climbach, we had the opportunity to dine at the Hôtel Restaurant A L'Ange, a cozy spot nestled in the stunning Vosges du Nord Regional Park. While the ambiance was inviting, and the service pleasant, the food itself left something to be desired; the selection at our €29 menu felt more average than haute cuisine, with highlights like the steak and lemon sorbet somewhat overshadowed by the lackluster backofe salad. We appreciated the clean, functional rooms equipped with modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and fully stocked bathrooms, perfect for families who value comfort after a day of exploring nature. For fellow nature enthusiasts or sports lovers, the location is ideal for hiking in the park or visiting nearby quaint towns like Lembach, though the value for the dining experience didn't quite meet our expectations. While it wasn’t a culinary standout, the hotel's setting and warm atmosphere could provide a pleasant respite for those looking to disconnect and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding them.
